| | Auf diese Nachricht antworten!  | I am wondering if some kind person can put me right on an artist who painted
European Alpine scenes in watercolour.
I think he was named Marc and I believe he came from Switzerland. He was
very popular with mountaineers (like me) in the 1960's and seventies. I know
he painted a really good "Matterhorn" but can I find the guy mentioned
anywhere on the web, I have tried all kinds of Google searches including
Swiss watercolour artists without success - lots of good stuff but not his.
He has either fallen from favour and is no longer known or (and much more
likely) I have his name wrong. Some of his work may have been used in guide
books but which ones I can no longer remember (senior moment!)
Any help would be very much appreciated.
