Thinking of doing a long weekend with these guys: [externer Link]
I'm something of a novice, having just done indoor stuff for most of this year.
And, given previous conversations about how quiet it is here, which Web forums are useful for climbing related stuff nowadays? -- Champ neal at champ dot org dot uk

Looks nice. Actually, on a miserable December day the thought of lovely warm sun-kissed limestone is more than nice. :)

The forums at ukclimbing.com are where all the uk traffic is these days.

A great and very quiet place to climb. The rock is a conglomerate consisting oif quite large pebbles, it' very trustworthy but it takes some time to adjust to it ;)

Quite. I went almost 6 years ago, spent ages hacking through bushes to the foot of the climb, took 1 long look at the distance to the first bolt, and went for a walk instead.
If you have a guide to show you the way, and they'll lead, or you have good runout coping strategies, then go for it. It is a lovely spot, if you can put up with the crowds of pilgrims and other tourists. The monastery hotel was good, and not too expensive, we were there just before Easter.
